Devlin Stone's nation built upon the ruins of the conquered Word of Blake Protectorate. After the HPG blackout struck in 3132, the majority of the Republic collapsed after the core worlds around Terra locked themselves behind the enigmatic Fortress technology.
The Republic was dismantled in 3151 when Clan Wolf conquered Terra.
